AI Inspections Pro

AI Inspections Pro is an advanced add-on for Whip Around Inspections that uses artificial intelligence to help review inspection photos, form responses, and driver comments.

It is designed to give managers an extra layer of visibility by identifying potential issues that may need further review, such as visible damage, missed defects, or differences between inspection notes and submitted photos.

AI Inspections Pro does not replace your team’s inspection process. Instead, it helps your business catch issues earlier, improve inspection consistency, and reduce the time spent manually reviewing inspection submissions.

Once enabled, AI Inspections Pro reviews eligible inspection photos and related inspection information after an inspection is submitted.

For example, if your fleet is older and surface rust is expected, AI may flag rust frequently. If rust is not something your team wants flagged for that business, Whip Around can help adjust the AI behavior to better match your requirements.

AI Inspections Pro can be configured to focus on specific teams.

For example, your business may want AI recommendations only for certain teams, or you may want to exclude inspections submitted by a specific team.

AI Inspections Pro can also be configured for specific assets or asset types.

You can choose which photo cards within an inspection form should be analyzed by AI.

No. Drivers and operators complete inspections the same way they do today.

AI Inspections Pro works in the background after inspections are submitted. It reviews eligible photos, inspection cards, and comments based on your configuration.

AI-flagged items appear in the Inspections Pro dashboard.

From there, you can review the inspection details, view the AI suggestion, and decide whether to create a defect or ignore the suggestion.

All users can access AI Inspections Pro except users with the Driver or Mechanic role.

Custom permissions can also be applied if your business wants to control who can access AI Inspections Pro.

AI Inspections Pro must first be enabled for your account by the Whip Around team.

Once enabled, AI will begin reviewing eligible inspection photos from that point forward. If no inspections have been flagged yet, you may not see any items in the AI Inspections Pro dashboard.

AI only reviews eligible photos captured after AI Inspections Pro has been enabled and where AI analysis is active for the relevant photo card.

AI Inspections Pro analyzes inspection photos, inspection cards, and notes submitted through Whip Around.

It uses this information to identify possible issues and provide suggestions for your team to review.
