Add an attachment on work orders

This article focuses on ability to add documents or media on a work order

  • Ability to add a document/media on work order (Web dashboard)

Step 1 - Navigate to work order details page

Step 2 -

  • Click on ‘Upload attachments’ button

  • Drag/drop or click to upload the document

  • Once document is uploaded, click on close.

Step 2 - Ability to view documents uploaded on a work order or work order item.

Navigate to attachments section on any work order details page.

Note -

  • Work order number is associated with the document that is attached to overall work order

  • Either defect number or Service task number is associated with the work order item.

Step 3 - Filter the documents on work order details page

  • Navigate to attachment section on work order details

  • Here you will see a drop down next to ‘Upload attachment’ section which will default to ‘All attachment’

  • You will be able to filter documents for overall work order or a particular work order item such as a defect or a service task from here.

  • Ability to add an attachment on work order (Mobile Apps)

Note - You need to have following user role to be able to upload attachment on work orders

  • Admin

  • Manager

  • Team Manager

  • Click on ‘Upload attachments’ button

  • Once document is uploaded, click on close.

Step 3 - Ability to view documents uploaded on a work order or work order item.

Navigate to attachments section on any work order details page and navigate to the attachment section.

Note -

  • Users are able to add attachments to work orders while creating/editing work orders the same way as web browser.
