Starting May 15, 2026, Whip Around will require iOS 17 or newer for all future updates. Apple no longer provides security updates or technical support for iOS 16 and earlier.

What happens after May 15, 2026
If your device is running iOS 16 or earlier:
The app will no longer receive updates
If the app is removed, it cannot be reinstalled unless the device is running iOS 17 or newer
Over time, you may experience reduced functionality or performance
To continue using the latest version of Whip Around, your device must be updated to iOS 17 or newer.
How to check your iOS version
Follow these steps on your iPhone or iPad:
Open Settings
Tap General
Tap About
Look for Software Version
The number shown next to Software Version is your current iOS version.
If your device is running iOS 17 or newer, no action is needed
If your device is running an earlier version, you may be able to update

How to update your iOS version (if available)
If an update is available for your device:
Open Settings
Tap General
Tap Software Update
Tap Download and Install or Install Now
Follow the on-screen instructions
Before starting the update:
Connect to Wi-Fi
Make sure your device has enough battery or is plugged in
Allow enough time for the update to complete

If you don’t see an update to iOS 17 available
Some older iPhone and iPad models cannot run iOS 17 regardless of available storage or settings. Apple no longer provides security updates or support for these devices.
Devices that cannot run iOS 17 include:
iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
iPad (5th generation)
iPad Air 2
iPad mini 4
iPad Pro 9.7-inch
If your device is on this list:
The app will no longer receive updates after May 15, 2026
The app cannot be reinstalled if removed from your device
To continue using the latest version of Whip Around, you will need to switch to a device that supports iOS 17 or newer.
We recommend contacting your fleet manager or company administrator as soon as possible to arrange a replacement device.
Important: Do not uninstall the app
If your device is running iOS 16 or earlier, do not uninstall the Whip Around app.
Once removed, the app cannot be reinstalled unless the device is running iOS 17 or newer.
