Does AI Inspections Pro replace my operators?
No. AI Inspections Pro is designed to support your operators, not replace them.
Operators should continue completing inspections as normal. AI Inspections Pro adds an extra layer of review to help identify things that may have been missed and give managers greater confidence in inspection results.
How accurate is AI Inspections Pro?
AI Inspections Pro is trained to detect common issues such as scratches, dents, rust, leaks, and visible damage.
While no AI system is perfect, it can help reduce the chance of missed defects by flagging possible issues for your team to review. Your team should always review AI suggestions before deciding whether action is required.
Thumbs up and thumbs down feedback on each suggestion also helps improve the AI model over time.
Do I need to change how inspections are completed?
No. Drivers and operators complete inspections the same way they do today.
AI Inspections Pro works in the background after inspections are submitted. It reviews eligible photos, inspection cards, and comments based on your configuration.
Where do I see AI-flagged issues?
AI-flagged items appear directly in Inspection History. Turn on the Inspections Pro toggle in the grid toolbar to show the AI suggestions column.
From there, you can expand the row to review the inspection details, view the AI suggestion, and decide whether to create a defect or ignore the suggestion.
Who has access to AI Inspections Pro?
All users can access AI Inspections Pro except users with the Driver or Mechanic role.
Custom permissions can also be applied if your business wants to control who can access AI Inspections Pro.
Why can’t I see the AI Inspections Pro button?
AI Inspections Pro must first be enabled for your account by the Whip Around team.
Once enabled, AI will begin reviewing eligible inspection photos from that point forward. If no inspections have been flagged yet, you may not see any suggestions in the AI suggestions column.
AI only reviews eligible photos captured after AI Inspections Pro has been enabled and where AI analysis is active for the relevant photo card.
What data does AI Inspections Pro analyze?
AI Inspections Pro analyzes inspection photos, inspection cards, and notes submitted through Whip Around.
It uses this information to identify possible issues and provide suggestions for your team to review.
Is my data secure?
Yes. AI Inspections Pro only analyzes inspection information submitted through Whip Around for the purpose of providing inspection insights to your business.
Your data remains secure and is used only to support your inspection and maintenance workflows.
Is AI Inspections Pro an additional cost?
Yes. AI Inspections Pro is an add-on to Whip Around Inspections.
