Approval on a work order, and auditing the skips

The banner, the list column, the status log, and the report.

  • On the work order: a banner states required or skipped, gives the reason in plain numbers, and names the rule. Missing-total and override cases have their own wording.

  • When approval is required: the creator submits, the configured approvers approve or decline. Unchanged flow.

  • On the list: the Rule outcomes column shows the next gate, with a popover naming the rule and reason for every gate.

  • In the status log: both outcomes are logged with a snapshot of the rule, so editing or deleting it later never rewrites history.

  • In the report: Work order - Approval skipped (CSV/Excel) under Reports → Work orders, downloadable or scheduled, filtered by skip date.
