Tracking Exception Reports

How to view completed and missed vehicle inspections in a calendar view

The Exception Report in Whip Around allows to you easily see which Assets have been inspected in a given amount of time. From the Exception Report you can contact Drivers, or Create Reminders.

Step 1:

Select the 'Inspection' module > select 'Exceptions Report'

Step 2:

Select your date range and which Forms or Teams you want to monitor. The table will update with the selected information.

Hover over the legend to see what each colored box represents. 

-Inspected - the vehicle has been inspected on that day.
​-Not required - the vehicle didn't require an inspection on that day
​-Exception - the vehicle has an exception reminder set up and has not been inspected on that day
​-Exception attended - the vehicle has an exception reminder set up and has not been inspected on that day but an action to contact or omit the record has been taken
​-No inspection - the vehicle does not have an exception reminder set up and has not been inspected on that day
​-No inspection attended - the vehicle does not have an exception reminder set up and has not been inspected on that day but an action to contact or omit the record has been taken
​-No. of exception items - the number of vehicles that has exceptions that day

Navigating the Report

Quickly view the report by which Forms have Exception Reminders already turned on.

If you'd like to set up an Exception Reminder for a Form, you can quickly add one by hovering over a grey box and selecting 'Create Reminder'.

Take quick actions by hovering over any missed inspection. You can contact the driver or omit the record (if there was a reason as to why the inspection didn't take place).

Easily export this report to CSV (which can be used for things such as compliance requirements).
