The Whip Around 'Maintenance' module enables you to create work orders from a Service or Defect.
To create a new work order you must be subscribed to Whip Around 'Maintain' and then access 'Maintenance - Service Schedule' by logging in here.
Creating a Work Order from a Service
Click on the 'Maintenance' module > click 'Service Schedule' tab from the menu on the left.
Click on 'Create W.O.' button on any pending Service.
3. This will popup the Work Order module with the Service already selected. You can add any other items such as additional Services, Defects or Service Tasks to the Work Order.
4. Select the Due Date and Assignee for the Work Order (if applicable)
5. Click Save
Creating a Work Order from a Defect
Click on the 'Defects' module from the menu on the left.
Click on 'Create W.O.' button on any current Defect.
3. This will popup the Work Order module with the defect already selected. You can add any other items such as additional defects, Services or Service Tasks to the Work Order.
4. Select the Due Date and Assignee for the Work Order (if applicable)
5. Click Save
