How to create a Work Order from a Service or Fault

The Whip Around 'Maintenance' module enables you to create work orders from a Service or Fault.

To create a new work order you must be subscribed to Whip Around 'Maintain' and then access 'Maintenance - Service Schedule' by logging in here.

Click on the 'Maintenance - Service Schedule' module from the menu on the left.

Creating a Work Order from a Service

  1. Click on the 'Maintenance - Service Schedule' module from the menu on the left.

  2. Click on 'Create W.O.' button on any pending Service.

3. This will popup the Work Order modal with the Service already selected. You can add any other items such as additional Services, Faults or Service Tasks to the Work Order.

4. Select the Due Date and Assignee for the Work Order (if applicable)

5. Click Save

Creating a Work Order from a Fault

  1. Click on the 'Faults' module from the menu on the left.

  2. Click on 'Create W.O.' button on any current Fault.

3. This will popup the Work Order modal with the Fault already selected. You can add any other items such as additional Faults, Services or Service Tasks to the Work Order.

4. Select the Due Date and Assignee for the Work Order (if applicable)

5. Click Save
