How to update information on a Work Order.

Edit/update a Work Order

  1. To update or edit a Work Order, select the 'WO-####'. You can either select a work order from the defects tab or the Work Orders tab under Maintenance.

You will be taken into the Work Order details.

There are two ways you can edit/update the work order.

  1. Edit work order button - Click on Edit button on the top right corner to edit items, assignee, due date or attachments on the work order.

2. Edit from Work order details page -

You can edit/update following items from work order details page itself.

  • Actions button -

    • Request approval <Only applicable if work order status has approval required enabled>

    • Update work order status <Only applicable if work order status does not have approval needed or you have the correct user permissions to approve/decline a work order>

    • Download Work order PDF

    • Delete a work order <If user has appropriate permissions to delete a work order>

  • Move asset in/out of service

  • Upload/Manage attachments

  • Add/update work order items

  • Edit cost summary -

  • Add comments -

  • View/Download Work order status log PDF -
