You can edit categories, locations, manufacturers and measurement units by navigating to ‘Admin settings’ under settings section
Note - This functionality is available to only Admin roles by default. But this can be granted to Managers/Team managers using custom permissions.

Add, Edit and Delete Categories
Add a new part category -
Navigate to ‘Admin settings’ under settings section
Click on Inventory -> Part category
Click on ‘Create part category’
4. Click on ‘create category’
You will see the newly created category on the category list page and also on the Add/edit/duplicate part drawer within inventory.
Edit an existing part category -
Navigate to ‘Admin settings’ under settings section
Click on Inventory -> Part category
Find the category you want to edit from the category list screen
Click on : under actions and click ‘edit'
5. Click ‘Save’
You will see the updated category on the category list page and also on Add/edit/duplicate part drawer within inventory.
Delete an existing part category -
Navigate to ‘Admin settings’ under settings section
Click on Inventory -> Part category
Find the category you want to delete from the category list screen
Click on : under actions and click ‘delete’
5. Click ‘Delete’
The category will be removed and can no longer be used to add, edit, or duplicate parts.
Add, Edit, Delete and choose default Locations
Add a new part category -
Navigate to ‘Admin settings’ under settings section
Click on Inventory -> Part Locations
Click on ‘Add location’
4. Click on ‘Add location’
You will see the newly created location on the location list page and also on the Add/edit/duplicate part drawer within inventory.
Note -.If you don't select a location when creating a part, it will automatically be assigned to the default location. You can set any location as the default.
Edit an existing part location -
Navigate to ‘Admin settings’ under settings section
Click on Inventory -> Part location
Find the location you want to edit from the location list screen
Click on : under actions and click ‘edit’
5. Click ‘Save’
You will see the updated location on the location list page and also on the Add/edit/duplicate part drawer within inventory.
Delete an existing part location-
Navigate to ‘Admin settings’ under settings section
Click on Inventory -> Part location
Find the location you want to delete from the location list screen
Click on : under actions and click ‘delete’
5. Click ‘Delete’
The location will be removed and can no longer be used to add, edit, or duplicate parts.
Choose existing location as default -
Navigate to ‘Admin settings’ under settings section
Click on Inventory -> Part location
Find the location you want to choose as default from the part locations list
Click on : under actions and click choose as default
Add, Edit and Delete Manufacturers
Add a new part manufacturers-
Navigate to ‘Admin settings’ under settings section
Click on Inventory -> Part manufacturer’
Click on ‘Add part manufacturer’
5. Click on ‘Add manufacturer’
You will see the newly created manufacturer on the manufacturer list page and also on the Add/edit/duplicate part drawer within inventory.
Edit an existing part manufacturer-
Navigate to ‘Admin settings’ under settings section
Click on Inventory -> Part manufacturer
Find the category you want to edit from the manufacturer list screen
Click on : under actions and click ‘edit’

Delete an existing part manufacturer -
Navigate to ‘Admin settings’ under settings section
Click on Inventory -> Part manufacturer
Find the manufacturer you want to delete from the manufacturer list screen
Click on : under actions and click ‘delete’
5. Click ‘Delete’
The manufacturer will be removed and can no longer be used to add, edit, or duplicate parts.

Add a new part measurement units-
Navigate to ‘Admin settings’ under settings section
Click on Inventory -> Measurement units’
Click on ‘Add measurement unit’

You will see the newly created measurement unit on the measurement unit list page and also on the Add/edit/duplicate part drawer within inventory.
Edit an existing measurement unit-
Navigate to ‘Admin settings’ under settings section
Click on Inventory -> Measurement unit
Find the measurement unit you want to edit from the measurement unit list screen
Click on : under actions and click ‘edit’
5. Click ‘Save’

Delete an existing measurement unit-

Click on Inventory -> Measurement unit
Find the measurement unit you want to delete from the measurement unit list screen

The measurement unit will be removed and can no longer be used to add, edit, or duplicate parts.
