Whip Around's Work Orders module is designed to help fleet managers streamline maintenance and repair processes by providing a centralized platform for creating, managing, and tracking work orders. With this module, you can create and assign work orders, track their progress, and monitor vehicle downtime.

To get started with Whip Around's Work Orders module, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Whip Around account and select 'Work Orders' from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen.

  2. Click the 'Add New Work Order' button in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

  3. Fill out the necessary details for the work order, including the vehicle(s) involved, the description of the problem, and the priority level.

  4. Assign the work order to a technician, mechanic, or another team member responsible for completing the task.

  5. Set a deadline for completion and any necessary reminders to ensure that the work order is completed on time.

  6. Once the work order is assigned, you can track its progress using the status updates and notes section. This allows you to monitor the work being done and make any necessary adjustments.

Whip Around's Work Orders module also allows you to create recurring work orders for routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes or tire rotations. This ensures that these tasks are completed on schedule and reduces the risk of breakdowns or other issues.

Additionally, the Work Orders module integrates with Whip Around's Service Schedules and Defects modules, allowing you to create work orders based on services dues, defects discovered during inspections and DTC Faults. This helps to ensure that all necessary repairs are carried out promptly and efficiently, reducing downtime and improving vehicle safety.

Overall, Whip Around's Work Orders module is a powerful tool for streamlining maintenance and repair processes, reducing downtime, and improving vehicle performance.
