The Vendors Module allows you to centralize all of your vendor information within Whip Around.

How to Add New Vendors by Single or Bulk Upload
When logged into whiparound.com, select the 'Vendors' option from the left side menu.
This will bring you to the Vendors Module. From there, you will be prompted to Create a vendor.
You may choose to add a new single vendor manually, or by bulk import.
To add a new single vendor, enter the details on the screen that pops up. Please note: anything marked with a '*' is a required field. When selecting "type" there are two specific areas, 'Parts' and 'Services'. If you are assigning inventory parts to a vendor, you will select 'Parts'. If you are assigning a Work Order to a vendor, you'll select 'Services'. You can also select both options if you will be handling inventory and work orders with the vendor.
To bulk upload vendor information, add a file from your computer. Supported file types are listed on the screen.
To find Vendors after they have been added, navigate to vendor list page by selecting 'Vendors' from the left hand menu.
Search, Edit or Delete a Vendor from the Vendor List Page
To Edit or Delete a vendor, select the three dots on the right side of the screen. From there, select either 'Edit' or 'Delete'

Add a new contact for a Vendor
To add a new contact for a vendor, navigate to the Vendors option in the left hand menu. From there, click on the Vendor name you would like to add a contact for.
This will bring you to the Vendor details page. To add a new contact, select + Add contact button that is in the Contacts list.
Enter the contact information and select 'Save'.
To make a contact primary, either select 'Make primary contact' when adding the contact, or select the three dots to the right of the contact and select 'Make primary'. You will be asked for confirmation, and the change will be made.
