Step 1: Contact My20 ELD
Before getting the integration set up in Whip Around, the integration needs to be enabled by My20 ELD. This can be achieved by submitting a request to the My20 ELD support team.
Once you have opened a request, you can either wait to hear back or complete step two.
Step 2: Create an API Key in Whip Around
Head over to the Whip Around Public API portal to learn how to generate an API Key: https://whiparound-public-api.readme.io/reference/permissions
When choosing a "Third party application", make sure to select “My20 ELD” from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Share the API Key with My20 ELD
Share the key with your Telematics Provider, in this case, My20 ELD, so they can begin to push their information into our platform.
The endpoints under the Telematics section in our Developer Hub (see below) will all require an API key with a third-party app associated with it.
