Improvement 1
Ability to add a reason when moving an asset in/out of service.
Customers can move an asset in/out of service from the following pages within Whip Around:
Asset list page
Asset details page
Defect details page
Work order details page
Now, when users are moving assets in/out of service, they can add a reason or notes so that all the other users/managers understand the reason behind the change.
1. Asset list page
2. Asset details page
3. Defect details page
4. Work order details page
Note: The reason/notes that are added will also be displayed in the 'Asset in/out of service' report, scheduled reports, and out of service logs.
Improvement 2
Ability to sort and filter the assets by in or out of service.
Users can now click on the ‘status’ column to sort the assets as in or out of service on the asset list page.
Improvement 3
Ability to export an out of service log for a particular asset.
Users are able to view ‘out of service’ logs for a particular asset from the asset details page.
We have added the ability to download this log as a PDF, so that users can send/print if required.
Note: This out of service log will include all the information users can see on a normal page such as:
Date that an asset was changed as in/out of service
Who changed it in/out of service
Reason/notes included when changing the asset in/out of service.
Improvement 4
Consistently show out of service assets in red on all the list pages in Whip Around.
When an asset is marked ‘out of service’, we will consistently display the asset in red on all the following pages:
Asset list page
Fuel list page
Defects list page
Work order list page
Service schedule list page
Asset details page
Note: An out of service asset could be noted in red in two different ways:
A red colored 'out of service' status icon is attached to an asset OR
The asset name itself will be the color red
Improvement 5
Automatically filter assets that are out of service when the user clicks on the ‘view assets’ link from the out of service section of the dashboard.
