Whip Around acts as a digital filing cabinet, if a driver, asset, or form existed in your account at one point, it will remain in our records even after being deleted.
When a driver profile is deleted in Whip Around, the associated inspection history is not lost. Inspection records remain in your account and are accessible even if the driver profile is no longer active. This allows users to safely delete driver profiles without worrying about losing critical historical data. If all you need is the inspection history, you can confidently delete the driver profile knowing the records will still be available. Additionally, if a driver profile has been deleted but needs to be reinstated, it can be restored. Restoring a driver profile reactivates it and re-establishes its association with past inspections. This means the driver profile will once again appear in filters and searches, making it easier to manage and access related data. However, it is important to note that restoring a driver profile does not recover inspection records because they are retained regardless of the profile's status.
If you delete an Asset, the asset will not be able to be selected by a Driver in the mobile app but all previous records on the Asset, including submitted inspections will still remain in your Whip Around account.
If you delete a Form, a driver will not be able to select that inspection form in the mobile app but all previous inspections completed using that form will still remain in your Whip Around account.
If you downgrade your subscription to a free account, the vehicles that are removed and put on hold will not be able to access past inspections records for those vehicles. If you’d like to have access to them you will need to have a paid account.
