QR codes and barcodes can be created at any time and assigned to any asset. When a barcode or QR code has been created, starting an inspection on the mobile app is as simple as scanning it and starting the process.
Note: You'll first need to generate a barcode or QR code on the web from a desktop computer. Learn how.
How to Scan a QR code or Barcode to Begin an Asset Inspection
Step 1:
From the homepage of the mobile app, select 'Scan Barcode'
This will open the camera app on your device.
Step 2:
Align the barcode or QR Code with the moving letterbox and the app will automatically scan it and take you to select an inspection form.
Note: If you are in a darkened environment, you can select the flashlight functionality.
