Whip Around makes billing easy with a simple subscription model calculated by the number of assets in the system.

If you add an asset profile, billing automatically calculates the number of assets in the system, and you'll be invoiced for the updated amount. If you remove/delete an asset, you'll need to contact your Customer Success Manager to ensure it's removed from your asset count.

We use the terminology Asset when referring to vehicles, trailers, machinery, and equipment. Our plans are based on vehicle assets; however, we have special pricing for trailers, machinery, and equipment which you can talk to one of our Sales or Customer Success team about.

Users are anyone with a profile on Whip Around. However, there is a distinction in roles between drivers, admins, managers, and mechanics.

All Whip Around plans include unlimited users, the Whip Around mobile app, and free, award-winning customer support.

You can choose to pay the subscription on a monthly or annual basis.

Whip Around offers three distinct solutions:

The Basic Plan (Inspect)

Both paid and free plans come with driver and manager apps, and paid plans with integrations, customized forms & templates, dashboards & reporting, and profiles for drivers and assets. Paid plans enjoy feature add-ons that can be added to your subscription at an additional cost.

The Basic Plan

Save time on your inspections with the Basic plan (Inspect). This free plan comes with a limited set of capabilities from the solutions offered. It’s perfect for an Owner/Operator with one asset (vehicle) to manage their inspections and record keeping for compliance. As long as there is one asset and user only, you can utilize the Basic plan at no cost for as long as you like.

The Standard Plan

Streamline fleet inspections and improve compliance across multiple assets with the Standard Plan (Inspect). This plan is designed for fleets requiring full inspection and defect management and boasts unlimited assets and users.

  1. Are there volume-based discounts?
    Yes. We offer discounts for signing up on a contract, and we do offer a tiered pricing structure for different fleet sizes outside of our rate card pricing.


    We also have special pricing for trailers, machinery, and equipment which you can talk to one of our Sales or Customer Success team about.

  2. Can I cancel at any time?
    Cancellations depend on contract terms. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.

  3. Are there setup costs?
    No. This is really a point of difference – we provide free setup, onboarding, training, and ongoing 24/7 support as part of our subscription fee. There may be a license fee applicable to the service if your fleet is of a specific size – but we can discuss this with you as we set you up as a customer.

  4. Is there a minimum vehicle count for paid plans?
    No, there is no minimum fleet count – Whip Around works perfectly no matter how big or small your fleet is.

  5. How does the Free Trial work?
    You can start a 7-day free trial anytime from the website or mobile app. You will be required to create an account by entering your details which will give you a full access free trial. We can also assist with setting up the trial for you. Just message us in the chat and we will be happy to help with your setup.

  6. Do I need to put my credit card down to start the Free Trial?
    No, we do not require a credit card to start a free trial. At the end of your trial, you will be required to enter your card details to pay for the service moving forward.
